Terms & service description
What the Go Telecom service includes and the terms that apply.
Summary for information. The binding terms are your signed agreement and sales orders with GC Global L.L.C-FZ or your local distributor; where they differ, the signed documents prevail.
Service description
Managed satellite connectivity on a Go Telecom business account: activation or migration of terminals, data packages per terminal, optional shared pools, usage monitoring, portal access, support, and equipment sold, leased, rented or loaned. Every terminal stays linked to a managed package; we don't sell bare capacity. Go Business and Go Mobile are available; Go Always-On is planned and cannot be ordered yet. Activation and migration times are estimates, and a migration may cause a short interruption.
Contract, payment, cancellation and seasonal suspension
Monthly plans, paid in advance, with no minimum commitment unless your order states one. For approved organisations, deferred payment up to 30 days after the end of each service month is available as an option. Single terminal: a larger data package applies at once. Shared pool: the pool size can't be increased during the month; once its data is used up, extra data is added in 50 GB blocks at twice the standard rate. For both: downgrades, pauses, seasonal suspensions and cancellations must be requested in writing at least five days before the end of the month (the 26th in a 31-day month, the 25th in a 30-day month) and apply from the 1st of the next month. Adding terminals to a pool (new activation or migration) follows the same deadline; the pool goes offline briefly while the network operator applies the change, normally at night. Unused data is not carried over.
Billing rules
Monthly charges are invoiced in advance and are not prorated: activating on any day of a month triggers the full monthly price. Where it is technically possible, you can ask for a smaller package for that first partial month. Payment for the next month must be received by the 26th, or the subscription may not renew on the 1st. Top-ups and other usage are invoiced in arrears. Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, withholding and duties unless the quotation states otherwise; bank charges are paid by the client.
Data packages and pools
Each terminal is invoiced on its own package; a pool is the sum of those packages. A pool needs at least two terminals, 5 TB in total, the same package on every terminal and one country. Without top-ups, terminals stay online at about 1 Mbps until the next cycle; optional automatic 50 GB top-ups are billed at the end of the cycle, and pool blocks cost double the single-terminal block.
Terminal ownership and transfer
Bought: hardware you buy from us is yours. Leased: it becomes yours at the end of the lease. If you end a lease early, the remaining value of the lease is due, and the hardware is then yours. Rented or loaned: it stays ours and must be returned; loss, theft and damage beyond normal wear are charged. If you leave: once the balances linked to a terminal are settled, we release its service line so you can move it to another provider. Warranty: hardware carries the manufacturer's warranty only, subject to inspection; misuse, lightning and power surges, and unauthorised repairs are excluded.
Support
Level 1 and 2 support 24/7 for direct clients, through a dedicated channel, with remote diagnosis. Platform or network issues are escalated by us to the platform and network operators; you keep one contact. Installation and on-site support are provided in the countries of the coverage table below, through our local distributor. Elsewhere, support is remote and on-site work is done by your own team or installer. Clients of our distributors are supported first by the distributor.
| Country | Local distributor | Installation | On-site support |
|---|---|---|---|
| DR Congo | GoShop Energy | Yes | Yes |
| Uganda | GoShop Energy | Yes | Yes |
| Rwanda | GoShop Energy | Yes | Yes |
| Mozambique | GoShop Energy | Yes | Yes |
Everywhere else, we bill you directly from GC Global in Dubai, with local data plans priced for 120+ countries and Global Priority for terminals that cross borders.
Acceptable use
The service may not be used for unlawful activity, fraud, cyberattacks, unlawful interception or content, or resold to third parties without a separate reseller agreement. Local Priority terminals stay in the country of their plan; crossing borders requires Global Priority or our written approval. Military, defence or unmanned-vehicle use also needs our written approval. You keep accurate records of each terminal's location and user; the network operators' acceptable-use rules also apply.
Service levels and liability
Unless your order states a service level, the service is best-effort, with no guaranteed speed, coverage, latency or uptime: location, obstructions, weather, congestion, power and the network operators all affect it. Service credits apply only where your order provides them. Our liability is limited as set out in your agreement.
Prices and taxes
Estimates on this website are not confirmed quotations. Applicable taxes depend on the buying route (direct billing by GC Global L.L.C-FZ or billing by a local distributor) and are shown on the confirmed quotation.
