What this website collects
Only what you type into our forms: the enquiry form, the Go Always-On notification sign-up, the partner application, the free account that shows all prices (we email you a link to confirm your address; it also keeps your details and the estimates you save, so you find them on any device), and the quote you send us. Depending on the form: name, company, email, WhatsApp or phone number, country, number of sites and terminals, current connectivity, your message and the setup you built in the quote builder.
Newsletter and news
If you ask to be notified when Go Always-On launches, we send you that one notice. We send newsletters or other news only if you ticked the separate, optional box. You can ask us to stop at any time by writing to info@gc-global.net.
What stays in your browser
Your quote selections and unsent form answers are kept in your browser for the current session, so they survive a language switch. Once you confirm your email or open a sign-in link, a sign-in code is kept in your browser for 90 days, or until you sign out, so you stay signed in on that device. No advertising or analytics cookies are used. To improve the site we count a few anonymous events (price views, sign-ups started, emails confirmed, quotes built) with the page, language and country only: no cookie, no IP address and nothing that identifies you.
Why we use it
To answer your request and prepare your quotation, at your request before any contract. To tell you when Go Always-On is available where you asked, and to send news, only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. To follow up on your estimate and protect the website against abuse, in our legitimate interest in running our business. Once you are a client, your data is also used to deliver, bill and support the service under your agreement.
Where it is stored and for how long
Form submissions are stored on our server, hosted in France (European Union), and sent to our team by email through our business email provider. They are seen by the Go Telecom sales and support team at GC Global and, when you buy through a local distributor, by the distributor for your country. We keep enquiries, quotes, price sign-ups and free accounts (with saved estimates) for up to 24 months after our last contact. You can ask us to delete your account at any time at info@gc-global.net. If you become a client, contract and billing records are kept for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Depending on the law that applies to you (for example the UAE data protection law or the EU GDPR), you can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop us using it for news. Write to info@gc-global.net; we reply within 30 days. You can also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
Satellite operators
Your terminals are registered on our business account. Your organisation's identity is not shared with the satellite operator, except where the law requires it. Satellite operators still process technical data such as terminal location and traffic volume to run the network.
